With Fully Split Clamping Hubs And CFK Intermediate Tube

The ZAL Line Shaft features fully split, balanced clamping hubs with two radial clamping screws each. A special support system carries the weight of the tube on the hubs.
It has a rated operating temperature range of -30 to 100 °C. The bellows are made of flexible high grade stainless steel. Intermediate tube sections are made of CFK (Carbon Fiber). Clamping hubs are made from aluminum up to size 60, sizes 150 and up are steel.
These line shafts have a long distance spanning capability, with standard lengths of up to six meters (19.68 ft). There is absolutely no backlash due to the frictional clamp connections. This is a low inertia solution that is good for higher speeds.
