108TX | Unmanaged Ethernet Switches

Red Lion's N-TRON 108TX is a low cost unmanaged eight port Industrial Ethernet Switch. It is housed in a hardened, metal, DIN-Rail enclosure.

The 108 switches are designed for use in critical data acquisition, control, and Ethernet I/O applications. This is an industrial switch that is designed to solve the most demanding industrial communication requirements while providing high throughput and minimum downtime.

There are eight RJ-45 auto sensing 10/100BaseTX ports. All of the ports are full/half duplex capable, using "state of the art" Ethernet switching technology. This switch auto-negotiates the speed and flow control capabilities for all of the TX port connections, and configures itself automatically.

Since the 105TX is auto sensing, there will be no need to make extensive wiring changes if upgrades are made to host computers, plant systems, or Ethernet I/O modules. The switching fabric simply scales up or down automatically to match specific network environments.

To increase reliability the 108TX includes dual redundant power inputs. LEDs are provided to display the link status and activity of each port. These switches run on 10-30VDC and have surge Protection diodes on the power inputs, along with ESD and surge protection on all built in ports.
