BK1 | Metal Bellows Coupling
The BK1 Flange Mount coupling is intended for special design applications. The hubs have six threaded metric mounting holes and the I.D. and O.D. are concentrically machined to ISO H7 tolerances.
Hubs with custom bore size, mounting threads and bolt circles are available upon request.
It has a broad operating temperature range of -30 to 12 °C There is absolutely zero backlash due to the fixed bolted connection.
These couplings are maintenance-free for life if the technical limits are not exceeded.
The bellows are made of highly flexible high grade stainless steel and the hubs are made from steel or aluminum (See table)
The high level of quality inherent to the BK1 make it able to tolerate overloads up to 1.5 times the value specified.
Speeds up to 10,000 rpm are acceptable (In excess of 10,000 with finely balanced version).
