SP3 | Metal Bellows Coupling
External Clamping Ring
The SP3 is designed with two precision machined clamping ring hubs that are mounted concentrically to a flexible bellows.
This coupling has an extremely high balancing quality due to its symmetrical design which allows it to run smoothly at high operating speeds (See Table).
It offers high clamping forces that provide for brief overloading of 1.5 times the rating indicated.
The SP3 is an absolutely backlash free solution and is maintenance-free if the technical ratings are not exceeded.
The bellows are made of highly flexible high-grade
stainless steel. Hubs and clamps are made of steel.
