STE | Torque Limiting Coupling
Simple Key-Way Mounting
The STE is a very high precision, high concentricity unit with two precision machined hubs with curved jaws and conical clamping rings.
The symmetrically machined hubs, and clamping rings are made from high strength aluminum (optional steel) while the elastomer is wear resistant thermally stable TPU in various shore hardness.
Clutch segments are hardened steel (nitro-carburized surface)
Design:
Drive side: coupling hub with simple keyway mounting
Driven side: coupling hub with simple keyway mounting and elastomer segments
Safety elements: evenly spaced around the circumference; externally adjustable
