7010TX | Managed Ethernet Switch
Red Lion's N-TRON 7010TX compact, fully managed industrial Ethernet switch is housed in a rugged industrial metal enclosure and offers a powerful combination of eight 10/100BaseTX copper ports and two SFP gigabit ports.
It is ideally suited for use in industrial applications such as factory control networks, utilities, wind turbines, wastewater treatment facilities, rail car, intelligent traffic control and transportation applications, and any other application where high reliability, superior noise immunity, extreme ruggedness, and extended distance are required.
Fully Managed Network Features
The 7010TX provides several network features that contribute to network visibility, uptime, and security.
IGMP Snooping Internet Group Management Protocol allows the 7010TX switch to forward and filter multicast traffic intelligently.
VLAN Virtual Local Area Network allows you to segment the switch and create two or more separate local area network domains.
QoS Quality of Service prioritizes network traffic to improve the latency of Ethernet packets required for ring management, real-time, and other interactive applications.
Trunking Enables multiple physical ports to be linked together and function as one uplink to another trunking capable switch, increasing the bandwidth between switches.
Port Mirroring Allows traffic on one port to be duplicated and sent to a designated mirror port which can be used to monitor Ethernet traffic on the designated source port.
Rapid Spanning Tree Allows the switch to be configured in a ring or mesh topology, and provides support for redundant path communications with high speed (rapid) healing.
Remote Monitoring The 7010TX offers web browser management and N-View OLE for Process Control (OPC) server software which can be combined with HMI software to add monitoring, trending, and alarming. SNMP is also available for switch link and status monitoring.
N-Ring Technology Offers detailed fault diagnostics and a healing time of ~30ms. The ring manager periodically checks ring health via packets. If it stops receiving health check packets, it converts the ring to a linear bus topology within ~30ms.
