MXE-P | Profiled Rail Rodless Screw Actuators

The Tolomatic MXE-P rodless electric screw-drive actuator series is designed for applications that require moderate to heavy load carrying and guidance.
These actuators feature a profiled rail system with recirculating ball linear guides for optimal performance. The low carrier height reduces overall actuator envelope while the large load mounting pattern provides for excellent load stability.
Recirculating ball bearings reduce friction and extend the overall service life of the actuator. There are multiple screw technologies to choose from including five solid nut variants made from engineered resins that offer quiet performance at the lowest cost, along with three separate ball nut options offering superior positioning accuracy, repeatability, low backlash and longer life.
Internal magnets are a standard feature that allow for the installation of sensors on the open side or bottom of the extrusion.

Switches

These actuators offer a wide range of sensing choices.
There are 12 switch choices:
Reed, Solid State PNP (sourcing) or Solid State NPN (sinking); in normally open or normally closed; with flying leads or quick-disconnect.

Commonly used for end-of-stroke positioning, these switches allow drop-in installation anywhere along the entire actuator length. The one-piece design includes the retained fastening hardware and is designed for any open side or bottom slot on the MX. The internal piston magnet is a standard feature, therefore these switches can be installed in the field at any time.

All switches are CE rated and are RoHS compliant.
Switches feature bright red or yellow LED signal indicators; solid state switches also have green LED power indicators.
