MXE-S | Solid Bearing Rodless Screw Actuators

The Tolomatic MXE-S rodless electric screw drive actuator series is designed for applications that require moderate load carrying and guidance.
These actuators utilize two field replaceable solid bearings that never need lubrication and optimize stress distribution for optimal performance. A trapezoidal design maximizes the surface area of these bearings for less pressure on bearing surfaces, resulting in less wear. These bearings are tensioned indirectly which provides for bind free adjustment.
The carrier has a large mounting pattern for increased load stability and compatibility. Internal magnets are a standard feature that allow for the installation of sensors on the open side or bottom of the extrusion.

Switches

These actuators offer a wide range of sensing choices.
There are 12 switch choices:
Reed, Solid State PNP (sourcing) or Solid State NPN (sinking); in normally open or normally closed; with flying leads or quick-disconnect.

Commonly used for end-of-stroke positioning, these switches allow drop-in installation anywhere along the entire actuator length. The one-piece design includes the retained fastening hardware and is designed for any open side or bottom slot on the MX. The internal piston magnet is a standard feature, therefore these switches can be installed in the field at any time.

All switches are CE rated and are RoHS compliant.
Switches feature bright red or yellow LED signal indicators; solid state switches also have green LED power indicators.
